Mission TN-06-CT-08 Summary: Below is a synopsis of our current training mission together with some photos. Mission base was opened at 0730 hours. We had our first briefing of the day at 0800. The plan is to update this page at the bottom of the hour, directly opposite the actual mission briefings at mission base at the top of the hour. Synopsis: Only tasking is missing aircraft that flew from New Haven-Tweed Airport to Groton-New London Airport. Three ground teams have been tasked. Ground team One is performing ramp checks at Meriden Airport and heard and saw nothing. They are en route to New Haven for a ramp check. Ground team Two is heading to Groton Airport to do a ramp check. Ground Team Three is performing a ramp check at Goodspeed Airport then will go on, if they don't find anything, to Chester Airport. We have three Wing aircraft at our disposal today. One plane is serving as high-bird at 5,000 over the Goodspeed and Chester airports. Second plane is flying a search pattern between New Haven and Groton. The above information is an exercise message IC: Maj. Jack Shapiro |
